Creativity doesn’t hibernate! Warm-up with art camp from home via virtual learning! Winter break is the perfect time to learn new skills in drawing and painting with new friends. This year, we are offering two online winter art camps for kids: Drawing & Painting Camp (suitable for ages 5+) as well as our popular Cartooning & Anime Camp (suitable for ages 9+)

For teens and more advanced students, we are offering a 7 day online
Art Portfolio Camp for Teens (suitable for ages 12+)  in addition to our intensive live art classes in Figure Drawing and Sculpture — designed for portfolio students!

Mon Dec 21 - Holiday Cardmaking (Drawing, Watercolour)


10:00 - 11:30am (AM): Drawing 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM): Watercolour Cards are the ultimate handmade treasures that express gratitude and love! Learn how to make beautiful illustrated holiday cards by hand that will impress your family and friends. Lessons will cover type design and hand-lettering, how to illustrate holiday motifs, plus drawing and watercolour techniques. Recommended Materials:

Tue Dec 22 - Arctic Animals (Acrylic Painting)


10:00 - 11:30am (AM): Polar Bears 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM): Killer Whales From polar bears to killer whales, today we’ll learn to paint the beautiful animals who call the north polar region their home! Learn step by step acrylic painting techniques from the comfort of your home, and get instant help and guidance from your instructor, who will be painting along with you! Recommended Materials:

  • canvas (9 x 12” or similar)
  • acrylic paint: white, yellow, red, blue, black
  • water cup
  • palette (paper plate or wax paper taped to table)
  • brushes (large flat, medium flat, small round)
  • pencil & eraser

Wed Dec 23 - Festive Cheer (Drawing)


10:00 - 11:30am (AM): My Gingerbread Home 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM): Ornament Designs Today’s theme is all about drawing the things that spread joy and remind us of the holiday spirit! From gingerbread houses to ornament design, reindeer to holly, we’ll spend our day creating handcrafted mementos that can be displayed for years to come! Recommended Materials:

Mon Dec 28 - Magic & Fantasy (Drawing)


10:00 - 11:30am (AM): Mythical Creatures 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM): Magic Garden If you love wizards, dragons, and fairytales, then this camp is for you! In the morning, we’ll visit Hogwarts and design original mythical creatures. In the afternoon, we’ll illustrate a magical garden, alive with fantasy characters inspired by elves, gnomes, and fairies! Recommended Materials:

Tue Dec 29 - Superheroes (Drawing)


Action Poses: 10:00am - 2:30pm (AM) Character Design: 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM) From popular comics to the world of Marvel and DC, this day is all about drawing your favourite superheroes and villains! In the morning, we’ll learn how to draw action poses step by step. and in the afternoon, we’ll learn the creative process of drawing and designing our own superheroes (or supervillains)!

Wed Dec 30 - Winter Landscapes (Acrylic Painting)


10:00 - 11:30am (AM): Snowy Sunset 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM): Northern Lights Winter is arguably the most beautiful season: fresh sparkly snow, pink skies and clear, starry nights. Today is all about capturing the beauty of winter landscapes! Using acrylic paint, we’ll learn techniques like colour mixing and brushwork to create stunning landscape paintings from the comfort (and warmth) of home. Recommended Materials:

  • canvas (9 x 12” or similar)
  • acrylic paint: white, yellow, red, blue, black

Thu Dec 31 - Winter Memories (Drawing)


10:00 - 11:30am (AM): Snow Globes 1:00 - 2:30pm (PM): Ice Skating Let's llustrate our favourite winter childhood memories! In the morning, we’ll design a time capsule snow globe for our future selves, and in the afternoon, we’ll learn how to draw action poses and accessories inspired by winter sports like ice skating and pond hockey!

Perfect for creating unique gifts for the holidays or festive decor. In the morning, we’ll draw Haku in his dragon form step by step, and in the afternoon we’ll draw a simple room inspired by The Secret World of Arrietty! Join our most popular art camp, where kids can learn drawing fundamentals, explore the creative process of cartooning and character design, and draw alongside new friends. We’ll seek inspiration from video games, pop culture, and Manga and Anime fandom to create our own original characters, comics, and fan art!
