LIVE, online visual art lessons designed for classrooms

Bring us to your school for a live art workshop!

Winged Canvas instructors can virtually pop into your classroom to teach an art workshop step by step that focus on teaching techniques in art foundations.

Choose from one of our kid-tested packages, or we can work with teachers to integrate our specialty workshops with other school subjects or events for a custom experience!

Workshops are 1 - 1.5 hours in length and include learning and applying the elements of art and principles of design to a drawing, painting, or digital artwork.

All workshops are designed to supplement the Ontario Arts Curriculum

Recordings of the lesson will be made available for students to replay!

How a live virtual workshop works

There are two ways we can pop into your school virtually -- streaming or video call. Don’t worry -- no technology skills are required! If you can watch a YouTube video, you can just as easily bring us into your classroom!

🏫Two-Way Video Conference

The workshop is held “zoom-style” in a private virtual space on our secure server

  • Our instructor is able to see the class (if there is a webcam on the classroom device)

  • Better quality option for live Q&A if there are under 30 students per class.

  • Easily join with a link on Chrome browser (we are happy to schedule a test before the workshop!)

How a live 2-way video party works:

  • Private virtual space on our secure server (

  • Entry can be password protected (optional)

  • Get live feedback on artwork through webcam

🔴 One-Way Livestream

The workshop is streamed live on YouTube privately through a link

  • Our instructor is not able to see the students but can respond to questions in the live chat box (if over 50 people, a moderator fee applies)

  • Easier option to facilitate, especially if there are over 30 students attending at one time.

How a live 1-way streamed party works:

  • Students are sent a private link to join

  • Live Q&A with the instructor through chat

  • Students can interact through live chat
(instructor does not see the students)

  • Instant rewinds and replays
