There are many reasons why students might choose the recordings over the live lesson...

I'm shy and prefer to learn on my own rather than attending live classes with other students

I'd love to join an art class! ...but I have scheduling conflicts or live in a different time zone

I prefer to watch recorded lessons, so I have control of the speed and take breaks when I want to

I'm on a budget and opting for more affordable learning options, so I can take more classes

How Recorded Learning Works

📋 Registration

Select 'I want to attend a recorded learning option' when registering for a class, camp, or intensive.

✏️ Assignments

Your instructor will post assignment details and resources on Google Classroom. Students are also free to share their artwork.

🎥 Lessons

Within 24 hours after the live session, you'll be able to watch the video recording and draw along at your own pace.

💬 Feedback

You'll have 1 week to complete each lesson and submit your artwork online to receive custom feedback from your instructor.

Instructor Feedback Examples

Your instructor may provide feedback as written notes, drawovers, or suggestions on how to improve when you upload your artwork on Google Classroom.

Submitting artwork is encouraged but not required. It's up to you whether or not you'd like to share your progress privately with only your instructor, or on the feed to the rest of your classmates!

Recorded Learning FAQs

Recordings are posted on the Google Classroom within 24 hours after the live session ends. In the event of a delay, your instructor will post an announcement.

If you still don't see the recording or an announcement after 24 hours, please email hello@wingedcanvas.com and we'll be happy to help.

Once the lesson recording is shared, you'll have 1 week to submit your artwork for written feedback on Google Classroom. To request an extension, please email us at hello@wingedcanvas.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you're a member, you can share your artwork on Skool or Discord to get instructor feedback anytime.

If a class has low enrolment, or in the event of a recording error, recorded content may be sourced from previous terms. You will still receive written feedback on your artwork from the instructor via Google Classroom.
