Weekly Virtual Class

Learn advanced techniques to improve your cartooning and anime drawing skills in this weekly online drawing class for teens and adults. Sharpen your skills, learn advanced cartooning and stylization techniques, and explore character creation and design inspired by anime and manga culture!

In this 1.5 hour weekly virtual art class, projects and drawing challenges are guided with live demonstrations, and will range in length (but will typically take 2 - 3 weeks to complete). You’ll learn perspective, comic drawing, cel shading, character design, accessory and clothing design, storyboarding and more. Projects may include pop-culture character mashups, drawing challenges, facial structure and hair, action drawing, and typography.

Projects in level 3 Cartooning & Anime classes require a longer commitment as they are more challenging. Classes focus on teaching art concepts, illustration, and advanced drawing techniques, and lessons are more open to individual styles and interests. This is an ongoing weekly class. Join in anytime!
