Fei’s own art journey started at age 4, with drawing cartoons on the back of her grandmother’s design drafts.
Prior to Winged Canvas, Fei worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, and advertising art director. She has won numerous awards in various art disciplines, including a Gold Digital Marketing Award and a Webby for digital media. Her artwork has been published in Applied Arts, LogoLounge, and American Illustration. Her paintings and sculptures are in private collections across North America. She earned her BA from Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena, California. In 2012, Fei left her advertising career to pursue her dreams of world travel and making art. In 2013, Fei returned to Canada and founded Winged Canvas in her hometown of Markham, Ontario.
Fei teaches Art Mentorship and Life Drawing. She is also the curator of Winged Canvas Gallery.
